Just wondering if anyone might remember the title of a Civil War documentary. Back in the late 1980s or early 1990s there was a documentary produced, I think by the Smithsonian, which highlighted Union uniforms and equipment from their collection in the National Museum of American History. I remember watching it once, and there being a section on brogans, sack coats, etc. (It highlighted Union uniforms specifically within the Smithsonian collection.) Unfortunately I'm drawing a blank on the name of it! Just wondering if the collective memory out there recalls such a beast? I think it was a 2 volume set as I recall, but I’ve slept since then. :) I've been trying to locate a copy, and have so far been unsuccessful! The usual generic searches on Google, Amazon, and even Ebay have met with dead ends. (Of course, it would help if I could remember the name of the thing!) Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!
