The word on the street is, he is only selling though retailers like S&S now. His Facebook page is dead.

David is correct, Axel is still making quality tinware. He is just selling wholesale to certain dealers as dealing directly with customers was taking to much time away from his actually working with the tin. You may continually see him set up at some events selling his wares.

Thank you for the reply. I seen him at Gettysburg last year but didn't actually talk to him. I was thinking about buying a canteen but I just don't like how he puts his name on it and was going to see if he would make one without. Last night a friend contacted me and I ended up getting a never used George MacGillis canteen off eBay.
