  • Thanks to Wamacugh, White and Company

I just wanted to say thank you to Wambaugh, White and Company for helping me with my SA kit. There’s not allot of businesses that will go out of there way to answer all of your questions for you and believe me I had allot of questions to ask. I don’t know how many times I talked to Dan asking how a particular part was supposed to be sewn. I also changed the pocket to the detentions of one at the Smithsonian that Dan e-mailed me and suggested I do a different stitch. Towards the end I ran out of thread and even though I didn’t need that much more I was sent the same amount that I started with. Here are a couple pictures but when they were resized they are a little less clear , although not bad, and the mannequin made it look a little off.

Thanks again Dan. I also have to thank Brandon Jolly for helping when I didn’t sew the collar interlining to the body with the rest of the collar (I knew it didn’t look right) and instead of re-sewing a bunch of it I just did a quick running stitch.

I have to agree with you, Brandon. I just finish a Confederate Commutation jacket and it turned out way better than I expected. Dan did a great job in providing excellent instructions and the price was a bargain. It's also great to make your own uniforms.
