  • California Living History

I'm heading to northern CA for about 3wks. and just wondering if there are any living history events taking place the end of June and first couple of weeks in July that I could attend....
I love going to Columbia,CA and am hoping there's something going on there..Also wondered about anything in the San Jose area???

    Thanks

    Hello Vivian,

You may want to contact Judith Peebles (aka DRYGOODS on the AC website), She lives in Northern Cal and should be able to help you. Good luck!

Ernie , thanks so much for writing! I'm so sorry to say that I will be leaving on the Wed. before this event! :(
I wish I could, but already have my travel plans made. Perhaps I should have said I'll be leaving on the 13th.
So perhaps something going on between June 24 and July 13.

        Thanks again
        Vivian

There are some minor 4th of July events, reenactors will be doing. The best choice for something to do is to visit Civil War army occupied sites, Ft. Point-San Francisco, Ft. Reynolds-Angel Island and Alcatraz Island.

I would add the Benicia Camel Barns.
