Cornwallis, Tarleton and The 82 Regt Foot, 1780-81, US and NC Militia in 1812 & 14, Hoke and North Carolina Troops 1863-65 and US Colored 1865-1866 occupied a parcel of land in what is now Wilmington NC.
This is an example of the buckles that folks in the neighborhood have picked up over the years. I found #s 3,7,11 & 15.
(I screwed up and did not use ''12'', too lazy to edit and re-number.)
How about posting what you think they were used on and their period by number.
