  • Coverlet Pattern?

    Gents,
I bought a nice coverlet the other day and I was wondering if anyone could tell me what the pattern on the coverlet is. I don't know a whole lot about coverlets and would like to learn more.

The pattern is known as "Lover's Knot." There are slight variations from what I have seen in "Lover's Knot" coverlets, this being one of them.

A Google search of "overshot woven coverlet" produces quite a lot, including some great images, as does "coverlet patterns".

      Here's an entire museum: http://www.coverletmuseum.org/coverlet.htm
