Does anyone have any recommendations for good Navy books about the South Atlantic Blockading Squadron with information focusing on the Georgetown, S.C. area and the USS Harvest Moon?

I'd recommend you start with "Success Is All That Was Expected: The South Atlantic Blockading Squadron during the Civil War" by Robert M. Browning, Jr. and then look at his very extensive Bibliography in the back. It has about ten pages where the USS Harvest Moon is mentioned and about 9 where Georgetown is mentioned.Mike Stein
