    September 15th through September 18, 1862 McClellan had it in his power to annihilate the Army of Nothern Virginia and to have subsequently celebrated Thanksgiving in Richmond. His failure to do so is just a scintilla short of criminal. Especially so as he had the burnished arrow of Private Wm. E. fox, 7th W. Va. Infantry, in his quiver!

      Light bathroom reading indeed. Anything about McClellan can be used in the bathroom for more than reading. His self absorbed, self important, self promoting complex got a lot of brave men killed in my opinion.
