  • Euroarms Enfield help

Recently I have discovered that the area just to the outside of the cone where it threads into the bolster has a small area that allows air to pass through when running cleaning patches through. It seems to me that I may need a new bolster. I tried to purchase a new bolster from Lodgewood at Shiloh and they tell me that I need to buy a whole new barrel. If you look at a parts break down of the 53 Euroarms Enfield it shows the barrel, bolster and breach plug are three separate pieces and there is even a visible seam between the barrel and bolster that has been there since I bought it new 16 years ago.
Has anyone ever run into this issue before or can someone with a little more knowledge of gunsmithing be able to provide me with a more guidance? Since Euroarms has closed its doors the parts are becoming hard to come by. Maybe a Armisport barrel would be interchangeable? What do you all think?
