  • Civil War Woodworking

    Gentlemen,

I was wondering if anyone had this book and would be willing to tell me if an Army Bread box is included in the 17 projects. I used the search function but no luck finding instructions on making the box. Any help is appreciated.

    Thank you,

I was able to answer my own question. I found and excerpt of the book on the internet that showed the pages with the instructions to make the box.

      Please provide the link.

Michael, you need to post your first and last name on the AC, not just an initial. This is one of the "Big Three" rules for the forum. Thanks, Herb Coats - Moderator

I should have clarified. The page I found doesn't let you see the instructions but it does show the beginning of chapter 4 titled "Hardtack Crate." It can be viewed here.

176-page, four-color woodworking book that contains many historical images, modern-day collodion photographs, step-by-step instructions, and sidebars.
