I have a beaver pelt, and I'm wanting it turned into a civilian hat. Does anyone know someone who can make a spot-on reproduction 19th c. civilian fur hat?

In the imperfect world of repros, Tim Bender hats is the way to go. One would need more that one pelt anyway.

Depends on design, but at least two will be needed, just to do one of those tied up ear flap things.
For that type of fabric/fur combo work, you'll find Adler's quite competent, providing you provide the exacting pattern you want.Terre Hood Biederman
