  • A Taste of War - The Cullinary History of the Blue and the Gray, by William C. Davis

    Anyone read this one yet?

I thumbed through it at the bookstore earlier today, and at a cursory glance... it didn't look to bad.

    Any critiques ?

I got it for a Christmas present. Pretty easy read and some good (and surprising) information. Nothing earthbreaking but interesting.

I got it for Christmas as well, and I am about 1/2 way through it. As Mr. Mayo said it is pretty good, and doesn't have anything groundbreaking. I wouldn't spend the $15 or so on it. Get it at the library.
