Re: New Pedersoli Enfield Walk-around
Very nice looking. Has any one actually held one. I am wondering where it falls weight wise? Is is as heavy as the old EuroArms or closer to the ArmiSport or Parker Hale?

That would be great, wouldn't it Chad? It's sorely lacking in our AOT impressions. When I started, they could be found for $400-$700, but then when folks figured out they were used by CONFEDERUTS in the SILVER WAR, prices went up....Joe Knight

Re: New Pedersoli Enfield Walk-around
Hallo!
"What would need to be corrected to make this defarbed?"
I might would suggest using the SEARCH feature to go back and read the "Monster Enfield" thread as well as many others where (so-called) Enfield de-farbing and the evoution of the new Pedersoli line has been shared, discussed, hashed and rehashed several times over.
Not being critical, just pointing out that there is a ton of material in many archived and semi-current threads where one can have pages and pages to catch up on.
;) :)
But yes, in brief and to over generalize...
We are talking about improvements to a reproduction product, not necessarily an exact copy of an original. Without splitting hairs too finely on critical historical or academic Fine Points, at a basic overall base-level... it is the modern stampings (such as proof markings required by the Italians, and the spurious markings required by the lawyers... ;) :) ) that are obvious stand-outs.
And that requires a POV that we are grateful for the Italians listening to our complaints and making some efforts to change some of what is wrong and make some things "more better."
And for that we are appreciative.
Molte grazie!!!
