  • Period Can Labels

    All,

Does anyone have color PDF's or spare canned good labels? I see that Sullivan Press sells a sheet for $40 but I have no desire or need to sink that much cash into a few odd labels. I'm not particular, so long as the labels are foodstuffs.

    Email is best- fredrick.a.baker@gmail.com

    Thanks much,

    Fred

I think these are tobacco related but this is probably a good starting point:

Fred, have a look at the Material Culture group here on the AC. There are several labels for canned goods on there.

Enjoy... some are post-period, though, but few.

Maybe it is just me, but I can't open most of the labels in the Library of Congress collections to see them, and can't see what Johnny Lloyd posted on that facebook link either.

Friend me. Again, a few are a bit post-period, but just ask and I can tell you. :)
