The SCAR Committee voted on a final SCAR Max. Effort Event Schedule for 2014. Here it is:
SCAR 2014 MAX EFFORT EVENT SCHEDULE
150th Battle of Olustee, FL – Federal campaigner adjunct – Feb 14-16, 2014 (POC: Walter Cook & Jim Butler) - portraying the 48th NY battalion
150th Bermuda Hundred, VA – April 25-27, 2014 (Confederate) (POC: Tyler Underwood)
17th/23rd Tennessee consolidated. They were in Gen. Bushrod Johnsons Brigade that was transferred to Longstreet's Corps just prior to him leaving middle TN. Uniform guidelines are being worked on right now but from what research we have been doing it shows that these men would have been wearing Richmond Depot clothing. I am sure that there will be room for a few in Columbus Depot as well.
This is not going to be your typical spectator event with the 2pm battle. It will be continuous action in the trenches with the spectators being able to walk through assigned trails to catch a glimpse of 19th century trench warfare
150th Resaca Federal Campaigner Adjunct, GA – May 16-18, 2014 (Federal) (POC: Jim Butler)
Activities include: NCO/Fieldcraft School, School of the Civilian (by the SCAR Civilian auxillery), Regimental Sutler-Joe Smotheman, Commisary-Jordan Ricketts, mule drawn wagon (tentative per Mark & Bev Simpson).
We have our own separate camp on a nice, wooded hill and full permission by the event organizers. We have three groups committed thus far (SCAR, WFB and Michael Comer’s Trans-Miss).
Guiding Impression is the 70th IN – 20th Corps.

150th Pickett’s Mill Immersion event, GA – May 30-June 1st, 2014 (Federal) (POC: Walter Cook)
Immersion event replicating the events of the movements and battle.
Guiding Impression – 5th KY, Hazens Brigade
150th Franklin Immersion event, TN – October 24-26, 2014 (Federal) (POC: Jim Butler)
An opposed action, immersion event on the Rippa Villa plantation property. It will likely portray the actions at the Duck River in Columbia.
The SCAR Civilian Auxillery is planning to also have a contingent at
Red River Campaign – Oct 16-19, 2014 and at Resaca Adjunct
