Wellborn,Nichols and Oliver CS accouterment makers

Wellborn, Nichols and Oliver Confederate accouterment makers. Dave Jarnagin has a cap pouch in one of the many articles he has written linked on his website. I have seen two cartridge boxes that are Rifleman Boxes with no provision for Shoulder belt. The Confederate Riflemans box that Nick Duvall makes is very close to the Wellborn box that I have seen with a very pronounced scallop to the flap.

Am I reading this correctly? Over 10,000 sets of accoutrements by the middle of 1862?

If that's what the numbers add up to Lindsey than yes. I have buried my head in just getting the data transferred over to Excel files and haven't been concerned as much with the total numbers. It is a huge task deciphering some of the Chicken scratch and the duplication process they used means sometimes three sheets of the same invoice. I will say this they were not as prolific as some of the other makers in the Confederacy.

If so can you give me the link to the Fort Smith item as it may tie in with some other information I have.

I have the reproduction cap pouch and have seen the original at the Atlanta History Ctr. I am local to Dalton, GA. and this was posted in the paper awhile back.
