Re: What Time Periods Do You Portray?

In my "collection", if considered the same as portraying, I have a complete original WWI uniform w/ equipments, etc. WWII US Early war (1940-41) mid-war (42-44) and late war (1944-45) as well as complete WWI USMC combat uniform and gear. Also, Korean War uniform and gear and 90% completed with a basic Vietnam (1968-1970) collection. ...enough stuff to fill about 11 large tubs. The interesting part is people see my collection or hear about it and just give me stuff, knowing I'll take good care of it - including a Japanese Type 99 Arisaka a Marine brought back from WWII.

1745-1813, 1858-1865, 1882, and very occasionally 1938-1944... with a dabble in 1550s inspired romanticism occasionally.

Started Civil war in 1981 at age 15. Did some serious 1870's Indian War Infantry with the General Miles Marching & Chowder Society in the late 90's Got into WWII while stationed in Germany 1998-2002. I also did some Rev War Hessian in Hesse while over there. Did nothing but WWII until 2010. Started Civil War again in the artillery this time. Click image for larger version

Mid-18th century French and Scot settlement of what would become lower Alabama. Working clothing for at home: dyeing-variegated cochineal. Dressed more properly in linen short gown and petticoat. Historic Fort Toulouse/Jackson, near Montgomery, Alabama.

Ancient Greek and 1st Century Roman slave/musician/cook, 13thC Franciscan friar, 16th-18thC Franciscan missionary in North America (New France and New Spain), 16thC Conquistador, and Buccaneer/Great Age of Piracy, War of Jenkins Ear (1739-49) Royal Navy/Scoutboatman & Spanish Navy (and working on 1740 Florida Garrison Soldado), and Revolutionary War Royal Navy are my current alternate impressions when not bogged down with grad school. Considering tacking on a 16th/17thC Jesuit or 10/11thC Benedictine impression, and keep toying with the idea of finally doing some WWI/WWII stuff but I tend to just do the incorporating early 20thC vintage into everyday life stuff as opposed to a dedicated impression.
