From a glance, not seeing these up close for material/make:

-Love the pipe- a leprechaun or old man of some sort? I'd use it.
-Match safe seems to be of a later period and my hunch is because the word "MATCHES" is in what might be a postwar script style, but it could easily work. I'd use it.
-Tompion... yep- it is an Enfield one. I'd use it.

John, Would you take the tarnish off the tompion or leave it as is?, the match safe is brass with a leather wrapper, I liked this one out of all the ones I could of purchased on the bottom there is the ripples for lighting the match, how ever there is some build up should I clean this off so I can use it with the matches I got from C&J. The pipe is unused from the look of the bowl, and has alittle dust on it so I'm going to touch it up alittle bit. I wasn't sure of where to post to get the most views and that way the most feed back just wanted to know more on what I got.

The pipe looks like an 20th Century likeness of a Hobo via the poke sack/kerchief on the stick.

The pipe could easily be used as a prewar with the way the mouthpiece looks...especially in a northern impression.

I've never seen a Civil War era pipe with a flat "stand up" bottom.

The match safe is probably from the 1920's. Nice collectible.

Nor have I seen one, Joe.

But, it would be nice to place in the display case. Uses many of the 19th century traits but probably from late 19th or turn of century would be my guess.

The matchsafe is the one thing of the group that sticks-out as not quite period correct... other than that, the other two are plausible, IMHO

Apparently the match safe is in EOG, Thats what the seller listed, Now the one in the book was missing the leather, however since my books are at my parents. I contacted him and asked what volume of EOG and the page to get a better idea, so when I get a chance to get to my parents I can find it.

Well, could the matchsafe have been re-covered at a later date, but the matchsafe itself is from an earlier time period..? It is possible.

John, Thanks. My thing is that I hope they would pass muster at a immersion event, or with the fine gentlemen here. I plan on incorporating these into my impression.
