There is an article in the Spring 2014 Journal of the Company of Military Historians concerning Civil War infantry arms from Europe based on the research in Suppliers to the Confederacy: British Arms & Accoutrements. It corrects and clarifies previous research from an article published last year. Check it out if it is in your area of interest. Being a member of the Company of Military Historians is well worth the small amount of the subscription.

Re: Journal of the Company of Military Historians
Most of the guys who post on here would probably find the research interesting even if not always in their area of interest, meaning in terms of time period. Still, who can forget the exhaustingly researched piece on the Chilean pickelhaube? All kidding aside, there is a great deal of interest to historians between the covers every issue.Craig L Barry
