I need to know three things about any given event:
When - What's the date? I can't make it if I have other plans already. Examples include my wedding anniversary, kids birthdays, and Christmas.
Where - How far away is it? Do I need to schedule time off work for the drive?
Impression - Do I need to buy any gear? What do I pack?
In the age of the Facebook event listing, I find myself wasting a lot of precious time digging through post after post just trying to find those THREE basic pieces of information.
What is the Solution?

One of the improvements that have been made here lately is to use this neglected little feature of the AC - The calendar!
When you look for event info on the calendar, there is no need to scroll through Facebook or surf around the event folders on the AC Forum. If its an approved EFUBU or adjunct on the AC, you'll see it listed in the calendar. Check the calendar, find the event, open the listing, and you'll find links and info right there.
We will continue working to improve the event calendar as time goes on, providing better and easier access to event information. So, please check it out and feel free to send your feedback to the AC or to me, personally.
