  • Repro Image Cases

    Gents-

If you are in need of a repro tintype or ambro image case perhaps the outfit listed below maybe of assistance. I know some use originals but many of us can't bring ourselves to do that.

Just another way to bleed your wallet ;)

    Re: Repro Image Cases

Have you had any dealings with this company? I sent them a question on a half plate case about a year ago and never heard anything back. I wondered if they are still in business.

      Jim-

I purchased a 1/4 plate case this past April/May from him. I think he is a one horse show so he is slow getting back to people. IIRC I had to break down and call him to get the ball rolling. Once I did that things moved a little quicker. It still took about three weeks to get something that was "in-stock" but the attached pictures of my case will give you an idea of his work.

        Re: Repro Image Cases

They look pretty good, and the price isn't bad. Antique cases are getting expensive and hard to find. Plus I always felt squeamish taking out someone else's image to put in mine, even if I saved it.

I have several of their cases. Never had any issue. Nice quality.
