Hello, on Saturday November the 8th, I will be giving a class on Civil War Uniforms-- the "Known and the Unknowns"--Together we will explore the research of the past through the present on what we know for sure or not?--where to find it-- and what we still don't know about Civil War uniforms-- the material culture. It will be held at the Kenosha Civil War Museum-Kenosha, Wisconsin.
It will be a 2 hour class from 1:00 to 3:00 PM--cost is $20--$15 for members--
We will discuss Depot operations in the South, with emphasis on Columbus, GA., The Volunteers of April-May 1861, North and South, The Uniformed Militia of the 1850's, a walk down Civil War memory lane and how far we have come over the past 150 years on research, and will include a lot of photos of Civil War soldiers North and South-- and more!!! So walk down memory lane with us on November the 8th!!
