Before I start let me just say that I am not a huge fan of blowing people up on a forum. BUT, when you try and make contact with said person /company and they fail to respond, what choice are you left with?

    So...

On March 9th of this year I placed an order thru Blazing Star Press for one of their brass name plate kits. I think that these are very neat and have wanted one since I saw them in Echoes of Glory. So, order placed. I got my order conformation, everything was good to go. A few weeks went by and no word from them about my order shipping, being on back order, nothing. I sent an email on the 24th of March to which I received a reply stating that he was "out of town but would be back by Thursday night, would work on my order, and have it out by early next week". So, at the latest it should have gone out on April 1st. It is now the 21st of April and still no name plate, no email, no nothing. I have sent two more emails regarding my order and have received no response. At this point I figure it's a lost cause. I just wanted to let others know who may be wanting to place an order that their customer service is non-existent and you may or may not receive what you order. Thanks for your time

I'm in the same boat my friend. Purchased an arsenal stamp a few months back, they have my money and won't respond to emails. Very disappointed to say the least. So much for what their website says: "All orders promptly executed and satisfaction guaranteed, as this proprietor is determined that this establishment shall not be surpassed by any other."

      Mr. Halvorson and Mr. Dunwoody,

As I apologised earlier to Mr. Halvorson in a Facebook message earlier today, I do so again to you here. I got caught up in finishing up a four-year long transcription research project on New Jersey in the American Revolution, and let a lot of business and personal things fall to the side. It's silly, and I was neglectful in keeping customers up to date in a timely manner. I apologise. I have a lot to catch up on, and some mending to do.

I have your stencil for "J. Downs / Co. F 2nd Cal Cav" marked out on a plate, and I plan on cutting it when I get home from work tomorrow.

Received. “How now about the fifth and sixth guns?”
Sent. “The sixth gun is the bully boy.”
Received. “Can you give it any directions to make it more bully?”
Sent. “Last shot was little to the right.”
Received. “Fearfully hot here. Several men sunstruck. Bullets whiz like fun. Have ceased firing for awhile, the guns are so hot."

Thanks, Jason! Gents, I believe you have the response you needed from the proprietor. This thread is closed.
