  • Gettysburg - Any recommended retailers?

I'm heading to Gettysburg tomorrow. Which retailers (irregardless of whether they have paid the fee to be an "approved vendor") can be expected to carry authentic goods?

Re: Gettysburg - Any recommended retailers?

Based on the Reg't QM (Campaigner) and S&S Sutler...which is the better of the two to get an authentic US blanket, and which one should I get based on the selections of each?

*Update: Just emailed S&S and got a response back from Debbie Sheads that they are currently out of stock and estimate maybe some more by the summer (already a waiting list)....If anyone has any input on what to get for a quality blanket from Reg't QM (any in their campaigner stock), that would be much appreciated. Sadly,Nick ************ doesn't show any on the website any more either :(......

        Thanks in advance,

NS, S&S and SG Marinos will probably not be open. They are generally only there on weekends. S&S though is in a little shop behind the house. Call them first. If they're not out and about they may let you in. SG Marinos is just past Cemetery Hill but you have to take your chances as to whether or not he's open.

As far as blankets, Reg QM will be open. You will probably see some in there but I don't know what they are. The good stuff mostly has it's own section and there was more there than was listed on the website the last time I went in
