Reenacting Units in Illinois

Howdy, Fellers.

I have a friend that has a brother living in Illinois that may be interested in joining a reenactment group. He doesn't have a computer yet, so I volunteered to steer any information to him via his sister. He lives in Gurnee, Illinois. Any input would be appreciated.

Funny I just moved from Gurnee not more then a few months ago. He is also close enough to Wisconsin (maybe a 45-60 minute drive to Milwakee). My suggestion would be for him to contact RJ Samp(he can be found on this forum or on the First Illinois Battalion website) he can give you the details on the units in the area depending on the type and level(authenticity) the gentleman wishes to do. Hope this helps
