    Douglas;

    I don't know who makes them, but I saw one on e-bay a couple of weeks ago. Maybe someone else will list one.

      Re: Medical Officers swords

      Hallo Kamerad!

      Is there nothing the Indians and Pakistani cannot do.... ;-)

      Yes, there is a M1840 Medical Staff Officers sword available, for about $160.

      Having said that, I have never seen the culprit, and as with any of the repro swords and sabres- they are so-so or worse when compared to the original item.

      But, sort of the rarer originals, they are the only poker game in town...

        Actually Curt, the reconstituted Ames company will make you one for $320. These compare very favorably to originals.

          Thanks, John!

          I may have to take up the medical service now... ;-)
