Hello,
I'm trying to find (or at least find out what happened to) a reenactor I knew back in the 1980s. His name is John Hanson. John and I used to work together at a DC-based department store named Woodward & Lothrop (Woodies to locals) in Chevy Chase, Maryland. John was a security guard there and I believe he would have been in his early 20s when I was there from 1983-1987. I recall he still worked there when I left. He was the first person I knew personally who was a reenactor. He did both sides. He knew I was interested in Civil War history and tried to get me involved in the hobby but I declined at the time. If anyone knows who I'm talking about and might be able to help me find him, please send me a PM with information. Thanks.
