    Thanks for posting this, Phil.

    I travel to Atlanta frequently due to work and only one week ago I was working with superimposing maps of the battles of the area over those of modern day Atlanta in order to appreciate the feel of what was, what happened and what is............ I looked at Battles of Peachtree Creek, Atlanta, Ezra Church, Utoy, Jonesboro, etc. and it is amazing to me to think about what we consider the "perimeter" of Atlanta today and just how deep into the "city" that we know today, were these tremendous clashes.

      Absolutely, Mark. I wouldn't say Atlanta was in its infancy, but it wasn't far removed from that. Thanks for reading!
