There's a movie called "I Heard the Bells" in theaters now that tells the story of Longfellow and the tragedies he endured, including his son enlisting in the Civil War against his wishes. Includes a lot of reenactors, both civilian and military (including myself and my fife and drum corps, Monocacy Field Music). They're also showing a "making of" short afterwards with scenes from the sets, etc. Check it out!
