Tait jackets

Howdy pards , I was wondering if Tait jackets were being issued as early as march or April of 64? Also to what extent? Is this to early or was it later towards the end of 64 or the start of 65? I think they would have been around but just wanted to make sure.I have seen pictures of captured confederates around this time but most are richmond depot type 2s and 3s.If anyones got some info or knows some links to some let me know.Ill keep looking.Thanks.....
