  • Reproducing Civil War Envelopes

    Gents-

I know there are a couple of venders out there that do a respectable job with reproducing Civil War envelope covers and I have ordered some in the past. In my searches I have found some CW envelope covers that are specific to states and units that I would like to reproduce on my own for my use and demonstration purposes. Has anyone here ever tried reproducing these envelope covers as well and if so were you able to do it at home or did you go to a professional printer? Having crossed that bridge; Is there a source for the correct size CW era envelope or what did you use? Any direction or guidance would be looked upon with favor.
