  • CWDD: The Christmas Carol

We recognize “The Christmas Carol” as a timeless tradition. Written in 1843, the story was already very popular and part of the Christmas tradition. Join us for one way the story was enjoyed by being read aloud for you. Throw this video up on a screen during a celebration or stream it in your car as you travel. Thank you to Greenmead Historic Village in Livonia, Michigan for sharing the amazing setting of the 1843 built Kingsley House with all of us. Join us as John Connors reads “The Christmas Carol” from a reprint of the first edition.

Dickens Christmas Carol is credited with being the source of many of our modern Christmas traditions. Very nice video.
