Re: Learn about 5 USCT battles/campaigns
Here's a link to the Action at Wilson's Wharf, or Fort Pocahontas, VA in May, 1864. Built and primarily defended by a brigade of USCT. It is in private ownership, and the yearly scheduled event won't make the AC top ten list, but the site is well preserved and worth the time to visit when available, regardless of the occasion
BTW: This site is not to be confused with another Fort Pocahontas, located with other works on Jamestown Island.Bill Burks
