Has anyone had experience with Glengary clothing? Their federal uniform coats do not look very pleasing and the same for some other items. Any one else have any opinions on them?
Can't say anything for the Federal items, but the Confed. shell jacket, vest and trousers pictured on the site are first rate.
Gordon is a very nice guy too. He claimed over and over to me that if I didn't like the item he made, I could return it for full refund. Instead of returning the item for the refund, I gave him more business!
I agree with Jim. Gordon does make some fine Confederate clothing and he is a great guy to do business with. He is not happy until you are completely satisfied. He is also very willing to work with his customers to make certain that they get exactly what they want. Gordon sends pictures to the customer of the progress he makes on a clothing order. I hope this helps.

I purchased the Commutation Jacket pictured on his website and I couldn't be happier with it.I wore it to a Tactical event recently, and it drew positive feedback from quite a few of the "old salts".I'll be ordering a Frock Coat from him in the near future as well.

Questions about vendors don't really belong in the sinks. It would fit better in the buy/sell forum under a new subforum entitled, vendor feedback, or something similarly entitled.
Vendor inquiries in the sinks are like a round pegs in a square holes. They fit, but they don't belong.
It's not like there aren't enough little used folders on the A/C pages, but the increasing number of vendor inquiries in the sinks are getting a little old. They would be fine in Szaboland, but this isn't Szaboland.
Its kind of hard to tell with only thumbnail pictures on a website. It says he uses County Cloth kits, so the material is going to be good. It is impossible to say for certain without seeing a garment first hand to see if the seems are ironed correctly, if the stitching is correct etc etc.
From the photos they look good.

I agree, his confederate clothing looks very nice and it appears that it is according to the postss, but his federal uniform coat just does not seem right. It appears from the photo that if you were to put it on it would be baggy and not "form fitting" as it should be.

It looks like most the stuff in the photos are size 46s. Most large size uniforms like that dont look right, because it is no small feet to draft something up were the original is most likely a sz 36.

Silas is right, we really need to recreate the old vendor feedback forum so that comments don't appear out of context and folks have a place they can go. Mods is there a good reason it was not retained in the move over? I can think of a few. There were times when it descended into a level of angst not consistent with our goals...i.e., a food fight.
