Congratulations are in order for forum, and N-SSA member, Damon Palyka for his showing in the N-SSA's Miller Award competition this past weekend. Damon competed for the coveted award for "most autnetically uniformed and accoutered skirmisher" in the second uniform of the 11th Indiana Volunteers, which he largely reproduced on his own. In addition to being awarded the Robert L Miller award, he was asked by his judges who are members of the Company of Military Historians, to publish an article for the Company on his very thorough research.
In addition to winning the uniform competition, Damon's regiment, the 11th Indiana also won medals in a portion of the marksmanship competition.
Way to go!
