  • Civil War School Presenters Listing?

Anyone have the link to the listing for Civil War Presenters? A teacher is compiling a list of reenactors willing to do Civil War presentations at schools... I'm on it and need to get my name removed. Can't recall the link though.

Re: Civil War School Presenters Listing?

    Paul:

Not sure about you but that was several years ago and I have never heard a word.

After searching through some archived threads, finding nothing, it dawned on me that I code my name so it is possible to determine if someone is selling it on a list. Sure enough, whoever collected my name has sold it to several "Civil War" magazines. I stopped feeling bad about trying to restablish contact.

This does not answer your question, just hope it helps.

      CWPT's History Center and Classroom

Sorry, the page you were looking for doesn’t exist. Have you tried our keyword search? Go to the homepage or email us at web@battlefields.org if we...

      There you go, Paul!

It's on the CWPT's list of Classroom Visitors, and you're the first fellow listed under Indiana. Congratulations. :tounge_sm

I have NO idea how to go about getting oneself off of the list. I remember a lady posting on a few of the forums a while back asking for volunteers to be listed as resourses for teachers. I have gazed upon that list many times and been overcome with a deep feeling of sadness at some of the people I have found there. As a fellow history teacher, I weep for the students who might be subjected to the unresearched "history" that some of those folks will be imparting in an environment where everything said is believed to be truth.

I just saw how that link I posted was abbreviated.

I replied to this, long ago, and my name shows on "the list" with no reponses. I guess we got lost in the big black hole somewhere, or the list never made it to any schools.
