  • Other Vendors/Messes forced offline by ShebangSoft

Unfortunately, the AC wasn't the only one forced offline by ShebangSoft.

    Tim Bender has a mirror-site at http://groups.msn.com/TimBendersHats
Dan Wambaugh has some temporary space here at the "New" AC, http://wambaugh.authentic-campaigner.com - this is until Glenn gets him back online or Dan gets his own space.

If any of you are likewise stuck and need some help, let me know. I'll do what I can.

The sub-domains here are a lifeboat, my long-term goals for those include a preservation sub-domain, a civilian site and maybe free sub-domains for Approved Vendors.

    Paul,
For some reason, Dan's site is not linking for me. Just FYI.

I doubt he has his files uploaded yet.

What happened? Did we in the CW community irritate someone?

          Paul,

We also used Shebangsoft for our unit website. We are off-line and no response from Glenn.

I would appreciate any assistance or information that you may be able to provide.

          My e-mail: BSumner@Fulbright.com

Many thanks, and I appreciate that you got your site up and running again so quickly.

why not try the mil carton again?

              Paul,
If I remember correctly last time something like this happened, didn't you make up a missing persons profile for the side of a milk carton? It seemed to work last time, why not try it again. Perhaps you should also form a new policing detective group to find lost campaigners/ website providers. I think a good name for such a group may be CBI (Campaigner Bureau of Investigation).

              Hey they’re just some thoughts

                Paul,

Add our website to those of the lost: www.acwsa.org.

This is the website for the American Civil War Shooting Association. We are based in Wisconsin and Illinois primarily. The ACWSA is similar to the N-SSA, but is not officially related. Many of us belong to both shooting organizations.

I hope that they are still going to be able to resume service. If you find out that the final nail has been put in the coffin and Shebangsoft is not coming back I would greatly appreciate hearing about it so I can begin searching for another website host.

                Thank you!
