Comrades,
What with the potential loss of so many good articles, threads, and pieces of information stored on the old site, I thought I would offer up one simple step that will help "recover" some of your data.
If you decide to post research information, documentation, etc, I suggest that, rather than type it directly into the message box in this forum, that you use your word program, or whatever writing program you use, to lay it out first. save it to your hard drive, then copy and paste it onto the forum. That way, if it's lost in the ether here, you can always go back and copy it again from your files and repost it.
Some of you may do this already. I've done it for some things, but not for everything. I suggest that folks consider using this for important responses, articles, data, etc. It's saved me on a few times.
Respects,
