  • Kara Bartels & Corner Clothiers

I recently had a most delightful experience with one of the approved vendors here on the AC and wanted to share it with the forum. Kara Bartels of Corner Clothiers recently finished a civilian vest and trouser set for me out of some custom homespun jeans that was done by a local college textile program. Receiving the finished goods earlier this week after returning from vacation, I opened the box to find two wonderfully constructed garments. The cut of the garments, assembly, attention to deatails such as buttonholes, buckles, buttons, etc, and of course the sizing and fit, all of exceptional quality. Having received some trousers from Daley just before my vacation, I compared the two sets of trousers and aside from military vs. civilian, the quality and attention to detail are the same. I would definitely recommend them to others.

Death is the common lot of all and the diferance between dyeing to day and to morrow is not much but we all prefer to morrow.

Is there a schedule for when anyone's around the store? I have a moderate need for a paletot or a frock coat.

The store is open 7 days a week from 10am through 5pm and until 8pm on Saturdays.
