Looking for a muster roll of the 46th Mass. Inf, Co. C. In particular who was the 12 th man (alphebetically) in that company. I seem to remember that Massachusetts had printed some information along these lines in the distant past.
There is also a diary in the Lib of Congress which may be also be available locally for someone who lives in Mass. I have looked in the Norfolk/Va. Beach area and it is not available. "Diary of Sgt. William R. Sessions of South Wilbraham, Mass, Co. I, 46th Regt. M.V.M." Sponsored by the Historical Society of the Town of Hampden. This wouldn't have the roster of Co. C but I would gladly pay for copies if it can be found.
There may also be a regimental history but am still searching for that.
I am trying to identify a Mississippi rifle to the person who carried it. The marking on the butt plate can be seen on one of my pages.
All the above information was obtained by searching the net.
Any help from someone in the area would be appreciated.
