Gold officers trouser welt

Greetings,

I am looking for a source for the gold officer's welt for a pair of officers trousers I'm making. Specifically I'm looking for the type of welting that is a gold tubular trim attached to a black tape that is sewn into the trouser seam. I have seen this type of trim on commercially available staff officers trousers, but have only been able to find it in yellow or sky blue for making my own. If anyone knows of a supplier I would be grateful. Thanks in advance.

I can't help you with the gold braid, but I'd be interested to know where you found the sky blue. I haven't been able to locate any.

You might try Wooded Hamlet for the gold braid. I don't think they have the tubular style, but they do have a narrow flat gold braid that would be appropriate.
