  • M42 Rilfe Musket Barrel

I own an M42 Smoothbore Musket. Can the barrel of the rifle version be purchased seperately? Thanks.

Glad to have you back, Rich!! Try contacting Taylor & Co., the importer. I used to have one of these a long time ago, and asked them the same question. I sure wish I had a web or email address for you.

Can't some of our good friends send us some tobacco? We intend to "hang up our stockings." if they can't send tobacco, please send us the seed, and we will commence preparing the ground; for we mean to defend this place till h-ll freezes over, and then fight the Yankees on the ice.

As Phil mentioned, you could contact Taylor and Co. The web address to their 1842 Musket and Rifled Musket is http://www.taylorsfirearms.com/1842.html

Alternatively, you could purchase one from a custom barrel maker such as Dan Whitacre, at http://www.edsmart.com/whitacre/
