Clothing returns for 62nd ALA

Recently, I have been searching for any information as to the types of clothing/equipment/arms issued to the 62nd Alabama/ 1st Alabama Reserves, but all I have found so far is that they were issued Peter Tait jackets in late 64. Could anybody direct me to a place that contains the records I am in Search of?Specifically of interest is references to Co. A, "Lockhart's Cadets". Thanks in advance.

Try the National Archives for a start:

There are no regimental books for the 62nd AL listed; however, there is almost certainly "Compiled Service Records" for that unit.
