  • Pritchard Pack

    Guys,

I need some help here. I'm looking for dimensions on straps, etc. about the Pritchard Pack. I'm looking to do some research about this pack and looked around the site using the Search method and nothing that I needed turned up. If anyone can help me out on the dimensions of the pack, how it was constructed, etc. then that would be of great help. Thanks for your time and patience.

You can get the information from the Museum of the Confederacy. Their website is www.moc.org. The sheet will probably cost you around $30 but it contains alot of information.

If you become a member of the Museum, the artifact worksheet is only $15. It's well worth it, even if you're only in Richmond once a year.

Thanks guys for all your help on this. I looked at the MOC's web site and everything and will contact them about getting dimensions on the pack. Again, thanks.

Lukas Berg here in NC made a nice repro based on the original. I saw it this past weekend, and was very impressed. That said, I'd definitely recommend more research though, as he believes it actually may be of the "one of a kind" variety, like the Alfred May haversack. Good luck.
