    Sewing Help

    Folks,

    I am in need of your help. I am putting together a kit and I can do a decent job on my own, but I would like to have some help. I have some articles and books about sewing, but I learn best by looking over someone's shoulder and following them.     The best method, although you may not like the answer, is practice. Find some scap material and practice the stiches before heading to the kit. Trust me, you will save much time and constrination.

      In addition to practice, keep in mind that you only have to make it once, so take your time, the results will be much better. Also, in most cases, originals were not of the highest quality (such as with issue shirts and fatigue blouses) so if the result is a little sloppy, it will be spot on.
