One person I would reccomend you asking is an old friend of mine R.J. Samp. You could probably find him on here, the C.W. Reenactors Forums, or search online on google or something. Also look for 1st Illinois Battalion. He's our Battalion bugler and i think he has original bugles and good remakes of ones. good luck.

What would the cost be? I may be interested. Picked up a rotor valve cornet when I was stationed in Germany in 1989. Was the closest thing to CW I could get at the time. Still have it. Keep us posted. Thanks.
