  • Weather for Perryville

Looks good for now. Middle 70's during the day, and middle 50's at night. Only small chance of rain. Can't wait! :thumbs_up

Well I'll say, that will be perfect weather for an event. Atleast perfect for me. One gets tired of doing hot Florida events, some cool weather will be nice. Look forward to going.

I'll remember that when the sleet and rain hits and the temperature drops to the high 30's on Saturday night. No predicting ol' Perryville. :D

That whole forecast can change to the complete opposite within 24 hours... it IS Kentucky.

Gotta agree with Rick on this. I remember last year was going to be warm and then BAM freezing my butt off both nights.

I have been to Perryville for 4-5 years in a row. Last year was actually warm for Perryville. I have awakened in the mornings and been covered with frost. It can get cooold up there in October for an Alabama boy!

              90 + degree heat this summer. :D

Forecast is holding true. Do people from the South get cold when the temps are in the upper 50's at night?

                  Re: Weather for Perryville

Cool down? Interesting. I'm looking forward to Perryville as a chance to warm up. The highs and lows are ten degrees warmer there than Seattle.

I took a great coat - sans blanket - to an event in Oregon two weekends ago. During the nights, I wished I had brought a heavy blanket instead. Wore my heavy flannel drawers and army issue wool shirt. It was a little nippy.

Lows in the fifties? That's balmy. Highs in the seventies? Perfect. Too bad the weather forecast isn't written in stone. I'm packing for Seattle weather: think cool and be ready for rain. No surprises that way.

Looks like we may cool down a bit. Down to the middle 40's at night. I think I'll pack an extra blanket.

Couldn't agree more! Kentucky is known for its odd weather. You just never know!! Growing up in Frankfort, I had to keep up with the weather channel every morning just to see if I needed to wear a sweater or a t-shirt because one day it could be really cold weather, the next day- mid 50's and 60's.

In the local Elementary school I tudor at, we have a popular saying.

" you git what you git, and you don't throw a fit."

That's the only content in my own 'Campaigners Manifesto.'

                            Anyway,
                            keep that phrase in mind.
