This may not fit here, and I may be stupid in this question but here it is. I was in Montgomery Alabama last week and made a stop outside the First Confederate White House. Does anyone know what building the Confederate Congress met in?

A little searching of the Internet came back with an apparent answer. The Provisional Confederate Congress met for three months inside the General Assembly's chambers at the Alabama State Capitol.
