"You'd have more of a chance seeing me drink a keg of cole slaw while wrestling a pack of bears."

Next event at which I'm the Commissary of Subsistence I'm issuing kegs of cole slaw. Not sure about the bears, though.

    Maybe Ed Bearss? :)

Nicely done. I love the sack coat the seated officer is wearing. Is that a little bit of the quilted lining in Custer's coat? Very clear image.

I'd like to see you do that to one of the 114th PA Collis' Zouaves photographs from Brandy Station...

[QUOTE=ThehosGendar;39494 The thought of spending another year and a half languishing here at a school I can't stand to get through the official teaching programme literally makes my neck freeze up and hurt.[/QUOTE]

Wow, that kinda reminds me of me. I got out of teaching because I didn't think I could handle it. I love history, I don't want a bunch of uninterested high school students ruining that for me. The problem is, it took me two and a half years of school to figure that out. Then I decided I wanted to go into theatre costuming...another year and a half for that to start (conservatory program that only takes students every other year). I'm currently on year two of a three and a half year program. My parents figure I'll graduate sometime around the end of the next century.

I saw this photograph of 2d Lieutenant Custer taken in Buffalo in June of 1861. I am disappointed, I was hoping to see a matching wart to his left hand as well. My hopes have been utterly crushed by the iron fist of reality. :(

Do I see what appears to be the hand of the photographer in the lower right of the photo?
