  • Need help on 1st-person resources......

    Gentleman,
I seem to remember on the old website an article that discussed the various steps and techniques one could use to develope a first-person persona. I have recently been hired as an intern by a local historic mansion, the David davis mansion in Bloomington, IL, to work on researching and creating a first person persona for one of the male servants who worked there. I have also been asked to put together a presentation on creating first-person personas and interpreting as one for the rest of the volunteers there, since I have already done this for my Civil War persona. I was wondering if anyone knew how I could get ahold of this article and anything else that might help. I would really appreciate any help in this.

    Sincerely,
    Matthew Cassady

Here are some articles from the SFS event website:

I know there are several other articles out there, for example, there is one in the Columbia Rifles Research Compendium.

I had created an article & forms that might be useful to you in presenting to the other volunteers. Drop me a line if you would be interested and I'll dig it out. It addressed specific details to research when creating a persona.
